At Beauty Charter, every peel is customized to your skin, not selected from a one-size-fits-all menu. Your treatment begins with a thorough consultation and skin analysis so we can determine whether a peel is appropriate for your current skin condition, goals, lifestyle, and home-care routine.
Using professional Circadia peels, we focus on improving the appearance of texture, congestion, dullness, uneven tone, dehydration, fine lines, and breakouts, while respecting and supporting the skin barrier.

Which peel is best for your skin?

The Hydrating Glow Peel - Circadia Lactic Acid 35%
Best for: dry, dehydrated, sensitive, dull, or prematurely aging skin.
Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that provides exfoliation while also supporting hydration and the appearance of a healthy skin barrier. This may be your peel if you want a brighter, more radiant complexion, smoother-looking texture, improved appearance of fine lines, gentle resurfacing, hydration and softness, or a healthy glow without aggressive peeling.
Peel level: Gentle to moderate. Typical experience: minimal discomfort and little to no visible peeling with appropriate treatment.
The Clarifying Corrective Peel -Circadia Alpha/Beta Peel 30/10
30% lactic acid + 10% salicylic acid. Best for: combination, oily, congested, and acne-prone skin.
The Alpha/Beta Peel combines lactic acid with salicylic acid to exfoliate the surface while allowing salicylic acid to work within oilier, congested areas. This may be your peel if you want clearer-looking pores, reduced congestion, smoother texture, improved appearance of breakouts, brighter or more even-looking skin, or a refined, polished complexion.
Peel level: Moderate. Typical experience: little to no downtime when appropriately selected and performed according to protocol — generally little to no stinging or visible flaking.
When is the best time to get a chemical peel?
Chemical peels can be performed throughout the year when properly selected and when you are committed to protecting your skin from UV exposure. That said, fall and winter can be especially convenient for a peel series, since clients are often experiencing less intense sun exposure and can more easily stay consistent with sun protection.
The most important factor isn't the season. It's the condition of your skin and your ability to follow your pre- and post-treatment care.
Avoid scheduling a peel immediately before:
A beach or tropical vacation
Significant sun exposure
Outdoor events where you'll be in direct sunlight
Waxing
Major facial treatments
Important events, if you've never had a peel before
Your skin should have time to recover before a major event.
Preparing for your peel
Your skin needs to be prepared, not stripped. Before your appointment, you'll receive personalized instructions based on your current routine and the peel selected for your skin.
Generally, avoid the following for 5–7 days before your appointment:
Retinol/retinoids
AHA/BHA exfoliants
Scrubs
At-home peeling products
Waxing in the treatment area
Aggressive exfoliation
Your skin should arrive calm, intact, and free from irritation. If your barrier is compromised, we may postpone your peel and focus on restoring your skin first.
What happens during your peel
Consultation + skin analysis — We'll discuss your skin concerns, goals, current products, lifestyle, medications and skin treatments, and relevant contraindications. Your skin is evaluated before the peel is selected.
Prep + cleanse — Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepared for professional exfoliation using the appropriate Circadia products.
Customized peel — Your selected Circadia peel is carefully applied according to professional protocol. Treatment time and intensity are determined by your skin's condition and response, not by trying to create the strongest possible sensation. The peel is carefully monitored, removed, and neutralized according to protocol.
Calm + restore — After the peel, your skin is replenished with calming and supportive products designed to help protect the skin barrier.
Hydrate + protect — We finish with appropriate post-treatment products and broad-spectrum sun protection.
Your home-care plan — You'll leave knowing exactly what to use, and what to temporarily avoid, to support your results.
What your skin will feel like afterward
Immediately after your treatment, your skin may appear brighter, smoother, more hydrated, slightly pink or flushed, or tighter or more sensitive than usual.
Every skin responds differently. Some clients experience little visible peeling, while others may experience mild dryness or flaking depending on the peel, skin condition, and individual response. More peeling does not necessarily mean a better result — the goal is controlled exfoliation and progressive skin improvement.
Post-peel care
How often should you get a peel?
One treatment can create a beautiful reset. A series creates a strategy. For clients who want progressive correction, I typically recommend a customized series rather than treating the skin aggressively in one appointment.
For appropriate Circadia gel peels, professional guidance indicates treatments can be repeated approximately every 28 or more days, with lactic peels specifically noted as repeatable about once per month.
A series may look like:
First peel — establish tolerance and assess how your skin responds
Follow-up peel — build on the first treatment and refine the treatment strategy
Ongoing series — progressively target your specific concerns while supporting the skin barrier
The number of treatments depends on your skin, goals, home care, and response.

Peel safety
A professional chemical peel isn't appropriate for everyone, and stronger does not mean better. Your treatment may be modified or postponed if your skin is compromised or if there are contraindications. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, prescription medications, recent procedures, active skin conditions, allergies, sun exposure, and your current skincare routine will all be considered during your consultation.
Pregnant or breastfeeding? Please disclose this before your appointment. Peel selection should be individually assessed and, when appropriate, cleared by your healthcare provider.

You don't have to know in advance. Every peel starts with a consultation and skin analysis, where we look at your skin's current condition, your goals, and your lifestyle before recommending the Hydrating Glow Peel, the Clarifying Corrective Peel, or a different treatment altogether.

Both peels offered here are selected for little to no downtime when appropriately chosen and performed according to protocol. Some clients notice mild dryness or flaking; others notice very little. More visible peeling doesn't mean a better result.
